Job Description
The City of Inver Grove Heights seeks an Aquatics Program Supervisor, to lead the efforts to develop, implement and supervise a comprehensive aquatics program at the Veterans Memorial Community Center. Duties include supervising aquatics staff; scheduling and planning aquatic activities, events, and rentals, marketing aquatic programs; and managing the aquatics budget, revenues, and expenditures.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies, Education or related field, plus 3 years aquatics and recreation experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license. Certifications/Licenses required (or must obtain within the first twelve months of employment) American Red Cross Lifeguard, Lifeguard Instructor, and Water Safety Instructor.

Salary/Salary Range
The hiring range for this position is $43.20-$46.97/hr., with a full salary range up to $54.48/hr. This is a Salaried/Exempt supervisory position with comprehensive benefits including health, life, and disability insurance and Minnesota PERA retirement.
