Senior Center Coordinator

Job Description 

Under the direction of the Park and Recreation Director, the Senior Center Coordinator develops, implements, and oversees a community recreation program for senior adults. These programs include cultural arts, physical activities, health activities, human services, trips, special events and special interest programs. The position also oversees the Senior Center and its property.

• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in recreation, education, geriatrics, social work or a closely related field.
• Two years increasingly responsible experience in recreation, education or related work
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
• First Aid/CPR/AED training prior to or within first month of employment
• Ability to negotiate with a variety of people with differing interests.

Salary/Salary Range
$33,942 - $44,625
