"As we head into the busy summer season, everyone is gearing up for another great year of programs, events, and community engagement. Swimming lessons, aquatic programs, day camps, youth sports, concerts, and special events are all underway across our communities, and we appreciate the dedication of all park and recreation professionals working to make summer successful and memorable for residents and visitors alike.

We encourage all Region 1 members to stay involved and connected by attending upcoming meetings and networking opportunities. Future regional meetings will continue to provide a chance to share ideas, discuss challenges, celebrate successes, and learn what is happening in neighboring departments.

Please consider sharing updates from your agency, including upcoming events, facility improvements, staff highlights, innovative programs, or community partnerships. The strength of Region 1 comes from collaboration and communication, and we want to continue creating opportunities for everyone to connect and support one another.
