Job Description
The Recreation Supervisor assists the Director of Parks & Recreation in the overall planning and development of a comprehensive recreation/leisure program for the City of Greenfield. In addition, the Recreation Supervisor is directly responsible for the supervision and implementation of a designated division of programming within the Recreation Department and recommends program needs, staffing requirements, and equipment and facilities to be used.The Recreation Supervisor is responsible for adult team/league sports, youth team/league sports, sports camps, clinics and instruction, non-league and open session sports, lifetime sports, teen activities, Konkel Park Skating rink, community special events and tournaments, Konkel Park concessions manager.
Preferred Education/Training and Experience
- B.A./B.S. degree in the field of Recreation/Parks or a related field with two years of experience.
- Previous experience with local government or school district recreation agency.
- Experience or working knowledge of Recreation Management Software.
Salary/Salary Range
$74,014.00 Annually annually, along with excellent benefits.
