Job Description
The Village of Greenville, a rapidly growing community located just west of Appleton, is seeking a self-motivated, community-centered, and driven individual to join our team as a Program Manager. This full-time position is responsible for skilled and unskilled labor, essential to planning, managing and coordinating activities and operations for the Department. The primary function is to develop community relations and bring public awareness of Park services and amenities to ensure our residents are well-informed. Develop revenue generating recreational opportunities in the community by partnering with local organizations and businesses. Reporting to the Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry, the position will perform all tasks and responsibilities related to recreational programming and provide exemplary service to our residents, businesses, and partner organizations.

Qualifications
Qualified applicants should possess the following:

  • Associate degree in Parks & Recreation Administration or a related field with three to five years of supervisory and office management experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
  • Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) Certification or the ability to obtain within one year 
  • CPR and First Aid certification or the ability to obtain within one year
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with reservation software, preferably rec desk
  • Interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Salary/Salary Range
Starting Hourly Wage Range (2025): $30.52 - $33.70 DOQ
